Minecraft Hypixel Skyblock: Basics of the Bazaar

The Bazaar (or BZ) is a commodity market for trading raw materials and other items that is located beside the Auction House.

It requires: Farming; Foraging; and Mining level 7 to access it.

As said before, the Bazaar is a commodity market where players can buy and sell commodity items, such as: Enchanted Rotten Flesh; Null Sphere; Super Compactor 3000; and much more with a set price. Items that are tradable in the Bazaar CAN NOT be sold in the Auction House.

The Bazaar is split into 5 different categories: Farming; Mining; Combat; Woods & Fishes; and Oddities. Clicking on one of them will show the items that are listed in that category, as well as the buy and sell price. If an item has many products, such as 'Iron', clicking it again will show the different products related to the item, and their buy and sell price.

A toggle is also available between the 'Direct Mode' and the 'Advanced Mode'. In 'Direct Mode', only the buy and sell prices are shown. Meanwhile, in 'Advanced Mode', the number and volume of buy orders, as well as the number of instant buys and instant sells from the last 7 days are additionally shown.

Trading

Upon clicking an item, 4 trading options are shown: 'Buy Instantly'; 'Sell Instantly'; 'Create Buy Order'; and 'Create Sell Offer'.

Choosing the 'Buy Instantly' option needs the player to determine the desired quantity of the item. A player cannot buy more items than their inventory can hold. Upon confirming the instant buy purchase, the Bazaar will get the item with the cheapest sell offers available. The Bazaar will quote a 4% price higher than the cheapest sell offer, so that a simple change won't restart the purchasing. If the order goes through a price lower than the 4%, the extra coins will be refunded. If the offers change to much, the purchasing will fail and the coins will be refunded.

Instantly selling the products will take all of that item from their inventory and sell them to the best buy order available. Right-clicking the instant sell button will allow a selection of quantity of items to be sold.

Creating a buy order requires the desired quantity of items that the player wants. Clicking the sign allows the purchasing of up to 71,680 of that item in a single offer. Three preset quantities are available as well. For most stackable items, they will be 64, 160, and 1,024. For most non-stackable items, they will be 1, 4, and 64.

Upon choosing the quantity, a unit price for the order must be set. The 3 preset quantity options are: the same as the current highest buy order, 0.1 coins more than the highest buy order, and 5% of the difference between the lowest sell price and the highest buy price. With the sign, you can also set a custom preset.

After the quantity and unit price are set, the order will be immediately placed. Players who sell the products of that item will fill the order.

Creating a sell offer is similar. Clicking the sell offer button will ask for the desired price, which can be matching with the best offer, 0.1 coins below the best offer, 10% of the difference between the lowest sell price and the highest buy price, and a custom price. Upon confirming, all of that item in the player's inventory will be put up on the sell offer, and other players will be able to buy them.

In the Bazaar menu, there is a button called 'Sell Inventory Now'. Upon clicking, it will sell any items in the player's inventory that is available to trade to the Bazaar.

Now, where do the buy orders and sell offers go? Any active buy orders and sell offers can be managed in the Manage Orders menu. In here, the player can view their active buy orders and sell offers. You can also view the number of coins collected from the item, the % completion, and the top vendors of that item. How do you get the item and coins? Simply left-click them. Right-clicking an item will cancel the order, and will provide the player with no items nor coins. Fully filled buy orders can be flipped and make a sell offer with it for a set price.

Buy orders and sell offers also expire after 7 days.

A maximum of 14 orders and offers can be placed at once. With the Bazaar Flipper perk, it increases the number by 7 per level. In addition, a maximum of 1,000,000,000 coins worth of items can be placed on sell offers at once.

On all Bazaar sales, there is a 1.25% tax. The tax decreases by -0.125% due to the Bazaar Flipper perk. Can be upgraded per level.

You can see a collection of graphs in the product view when you click 'View Graphs'. The graphs are related to the products. The graphs that can be seen are: the 'Buy Price'; 'Sell Price'; 'Buy Order Volume'; 'Instant Sell Volume'; 'Instant Buy Volume'; 'Instant Sell Moving Coins'; and 'Instant Buy Moving Coins'. The range of the graphs can be changed between 24 hours, 7 days, and 31 days by left-clicking; the graph can also be enlarged with right-click.
